What People Are Saying:

"I started taking lessons with Tasleema in islamic geometry, islimi and miniature painting. Tasleema's lessons were amazing. She opened my heart to what traditional and sacred art really means. My thirst for further knowledge and understanding started at her studio. She helped build a solid portfolio and I got in to art school to finish my degree. I would like to thank Tasleema who changed my journey forever" Louisa Brouk went on to complete her MA in visual Islamic traditional arts at University of Wales, The Kings Foundation School of Traditional Arts and is now a successful icon painter.

Tasleema ignited my love of Islamic art and design and turned my interest into a passion. She is a wonderful teacher who is filled with philosophical and historical knowledge, as well as technical skill, in many forms of traditional art. As well as the wonderful explorations into drawing, painting and tile making, there was also a fantastic sense of humour and relaxed atmosphere that makes whatever you are working on not only productive but also a completely enjoyable journey. Working with Tasleema has led to a discovery of one of the great joys of my life and her courses are richly rewarding.
